it still amazes me, how even after many weeks, months, years. certain people can still trigger such strong emotion within me. it's not always bad. it's not always good. it's simply all-consuming. to the point where i struggle to hide the attempts of my heart trying to escape. shaking, crumbling, falling. and i hate it. because it shows i'm weak. it shows that i care. i'd rather be cold & unfeeling. it would suit me better. p.s. i still love life, and this is not an emu post. it's an observation. le end.

beach day was indeed an awesome time. nicotine consumption combined with pointless laughter and excessive energy channeled into a spur-of-the-moment soccer game, boys vs. girls [plus 1 boy], which quickly turned into a water sport involving getting the ball away from your enemy by any means possible. fuck the rules. splashing, tackling, volleying, anything goes. we won. by default. they ended up a man down. boy couldn't handle the water. by the end of the day, my arms are re-burnt, in a horribly patchy fashion i might add. my feet have also fallen victim to the evil ray-glare of the sun. however, it's a memory i'll always cherish. mad love
